God is One and unique. Moses was a spirit entrusted by God with the mission of making the Divine Presence Known, not only to the Jewish people but also to the entire pagan world. Through Moses and the prophets, the Jewish people were the means through which Divinity was to be revealed. The many misfortunes along the way served to call attention to God, lifting the veil that obscured humankind’s comprehension of the Divine. God’s commandments, as revealed through Moses, contain the seeds of the moral teachings brought by Christ. Jesus was the initiator of the most pure and sublime morality. That is to say, the morality of the evangelical Christian, which will renew the entire world by bringing together all mankind and establish a common solidarity between all people. Eventually, from this new morality the planet will become the home for Spirits of greater spiritual evolution. The time has come when these moral values must be developed in order to bring about the progress determined by God. Moses began to show humanity the way, Jesus continued this work, and the Spiritist Doctrine will bring it to completion.
